RUNWAY

OVER EXPOSURE
MËDINA | Summer 2025

For the first time, the MËDINA studio, led by designer Tal Medina—a Shenkar graduate in fashion design—will unveil an official runway show for a new eveningwear collection. This marks a significant milestone in the evolution of the fashion house based in Israel, which has been active for three generations.

The collection OVER EXPOSURE explores the delicate boundary between exposure and control. It raises the question: What truly dominates—what we choose to reveal or what others expect to see? What is visible when someone takes a closer look? Is it the woman’s conscious choice of what to expose or a reflection of society’s assumptions?
Set inside a television studio surrounded by screens and networked cameras tracking every move in real time, the show creates a closed-circuit reality of voyeurism and control. The audience quickly realizes this is not a woman running away, but a woman boldly present & celebrating her femininity and revelling in her body, all with full awareness.
“Anyone who looks at this collection will glimpse my deepest fashion fantasies,” says Medina. “I can only hope they’ll resonate with the ones you carry in your own mind.”

The boundary-breaking collection features conceptual evening gowns, sculpted corsets that allow women to shape their bodies on their own terms, and high-end leather looks crafted with couture-level tailoring—alongside wearable, accessible pieces.

Tal Medina: “It’s incredibly exciting to present my very first independent fashion show—one that fully reflects my unique signature. It’s a huge privilege to invite the audience into my fantasy world. For me, this moment is a significant milestone in an endless, colourful journey of creation. I hope to shift the way people experience fashion, design, and lifestyle—through thought, emotion, and desire.
